Estrella Mountain Trail Fest

Welcome to the annual Estrella Mountain Trail Fest.   This year 2025 we have routes due to construction at Estrella Regional Park.   All events will Start and Finish at Desert Rose trail head.  Desert Rose Trail Head is located behind the Phoenix Race Track. 

The routes run through and around the Estrella Mountain Regional Park range. All courses are trail runs and have scenic views of the surrounding mountains. 

Event Schedule

6:00 am Park opens

6:00 am Registration/Bib pick up opens for Half Marathon Only

6:30 am Registration/Bib pick up opens for 10K

7:15 am Half Marathon Race starts

7:45 am 10K Starts

8:45 am 5K Starts

10:00 am 5K and 10K Course closes

11:30 am Half Marathon course closes

Half Marathon

The half marathon starts at the Estrella Mountain competitor track and will finish at the competitor track.  The route will run across Estrella Mountain loop around on Coldwater Trail and run back to the competitor track. 

We will have water stations along the course. There is a 4-hour time limit for the Half Marathon.

10K

The 10K starts at the Estrella Mountain competitor track and shares the finish line with the half marathon and the 5K run.  This is a 10K trail run that runs through the Estrella Mountain Regional Park. You will be able to hydrate at along the course.

5K

The 5K starts at the Desert Rose Trail head.  The trail shares many scenic views of the surrounding mountains.  You will have a hydration station around mile 2.

Swag

We want to make sure you can show off your accomplishment, so we have put together great swag for the event. 

All events get a finisher medal

All events get a finisher shirt.  Finisher shirt will be given after you cross the finish line. 

Half Marathon and Challenge will get hooded long sleeve

10K Running Hat

5K Finisher shirt (only)

VIP Access. 

Half marathon, 10K and Challenge finishers will have access to the VIP area after finishing where we will have cold drinks, fruit, snacks and food for you to enjoy.

Finish Line

At the finish line we will have water, Gatorade, some fruit and snacks along with some fun music to celebrate your accomplishment and more.
