Description

This race is run in the Kaibab National Forest near the entrance to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is held the weekend after Hwy 67 opens up for the season to allow visitors access to the North Rim.  Each route runs along the rim of the Grand Canyon (on forest service trails), offering spectacular overlooks into the canyon. 

The staging area for these races will be at the historic Big Saddle in the Kaibab National Forest.  This open use area is about 1 mile from the breathtaking Crazy Jug viewpoint.
