Start your Thanksgiving with tradition, fitness, and community at the 19th Annual Laveen Turkey Trot! This family-friendly event has become a holiday favorite for runners and walkers of all ages, bringing the community together before the big feast.

Choose your distance and join the fun:

1 Mile Fun Run – Perfect for kids, families, and those looking for a lighthearted trot.
5K Run/Walk – A chip-timed 3.1-mile course for casual joggers and competitive runners alike.
10K Run – A scenic 6.2-mile challenge for those ready to go the extra distance.

With festive costumes, leashed pets, and a lively atmosphere, the Laveen Turkey Trot is the best way to kick off your Thanksgiving morning. Whether you’re racing for a personal record, walking with friends, or trotting in a turkey hat, this annual tradition is all about celebrating health, happiness, and community.

NOTE: Infants or little ones who are not yet of school age are welcome to join their families on the course and share in the fun! Registration is not required for them; however, they will not receive race items such as a bib, race shirt, or participation medal.
