The theme of our inaugural 2020 Turkey Trot is "Run for your Cause", as you are able to choose during registration which charity to donate the net proceeds of your entry to!  Charities listed are ones The West Valley Mavericks Foundation have supported in the past, and continue to proudly offer them support through our community!  Let's be honest, this year is one most of us would rather forget.  However, we as a community can rally together during this time of giving thanks with a meaningful and well needed monetary thank you.  All net proceeds will directly benefit the local non-profits that make the West Valley a remarkable place to live, work, and play.

While we would love nothing more than to host a live event, gather together, and work up a sweat this Thanksgiving, we have opted to run the Inaugural 2020 West Valley Mavericks Foundation Turkey Trot virtually.  If you've never participated in a virtual event now is your chance to have a little fun with family, friends, and co-workers while giving to deserving West Valley Charities!

Wondering how it works?  Here is a run down (pun intended) of how to participate:

1)  Register yourself, your family, and friends today!  Be sure to select the charity of your choice from our drop-down list during registration to direct the net proceeds of your registration to go towards.

2)  Choose your registration option:

• Individual Registrant 
  • Only $25 - Includes Inaugural T-Shirt & Race Bib.
  • Only $15 - (does not include T-Shirt & Race Bib).

• Family Registration  (valid up to 5 entries living in the same household)
  • Only $75 - Includes T-Shirts & Race Bibs for all entries, you will select this option WITHIN the Individual option by adding participants and selecting the Multi-Person pricing option). 
  • Only $35 - (does not include T-Shirts and Race Bibs, you will select this option WITHIN the Individual option by adding participants and selecting the Multi-Person pricing option).

• Donation Only - Make a donation to the West Valley Mavericks Foundation!  Simply click on "Donate" on the race homepage.

3)  Your race T-Shirt(s) and Race Bib(s) (assuming you selected) will be mailed directly to the address you identified at registration.  Please register no later than 11/18/20 to ensure your gear will arrive by Thanksgiving.

4)  Pin on your bib and head out for a 5k run/walk or 1 mile run/walk anytime between November 1st and November 29th knowing you have done something great for yourself and for your community!  Be sure and hashtag #WestValleyMavericksFoundation, #WVMTurkeyTrot, and your favorite charities hashtag on social media!  You can also post the results of your run on the digital leaderboard within RunSignup (if you want to)!
