Description

Your Trails. Your Run/Ride. Your Town 

On Your Left Fitness is proud to partner with the Town of Marana Parks and Recreation to bring you the 2nd Annual Tortolita Traverse, A challenging, yet breathtaking course in the Tortolita Preserve. Day 1 will feature the Half Marathon and 7 (7.7) Mile run. Day two will feature a 10-mile and 20-mile mountain bike race.

The Course

Day 1 | Run the route! Challenge yourself to a half marathon on a mixture of single-track trail and wash (sand) running or test your speed in the 7-mile Tortolita loop Course. 
Day 2 | Ride the Route! Prove your speed and have the fastest single or double lap.

* Flights will be sent appx. every 10 minutes*

Race our “Tortolita Tortoise”! Beat the race time of our route director to earn a special finisher pin.

Dirt Hero Challenge

Crush the Dirt Dash Half Marathon trail run in the winter, slay the Tortolita Traverse Half Marathon trail run in the spring, and earn yourself the dirt hero shirt for completing the distance of a marathon through Marana trails.

Join us for Mappy Hours at Dove Mountain Brewery. Mappy Hour will give you the chance to look over the course route with the opportunity to ask the race and route directors any questions you might have. After, you can grab your bib and race swag allowing you to skip the check-in line on race day and head directly to the start line. Food and drink available for purchase (menus linked below).

RaceJoy
The RaceJoy app will be available if you want to use it to receive cheers and directions on your run, or if your family and friends want to track you on race day.

Results will be posted live on the event website, and you can sign up for text messaging.

Before you run/walk, consider downloading and using the RaceJoy App. On your event day, turn on RaceJoy, pick your route distance, hit start. When you're done, hit stop and save your results.

The series includes five unique, fun, and challenging race events. Races are designed either as a trail race or road race each containing unique elements like mascots, community activities, or race course swag. All events are recreational and offer options for all fitness levels. Make Marana your place to run!
