If you were there, you know 2019 on our first course was pretty AWESOME! Then stupid 2020 came... But we came back and showed 2020 what's up by moving to a new course and having another awesome race in 2021! But 2022,.... 2022 is going to smoke them both!
Get geared up and ready for our 3rd race in the awesome landscape of Horseshoe Bend! In 2022 we're beefing things up and looking to head back to our origins on course location 1. We're adding more hanging, agility, and strength obstacles. We've also brought on a Course Manager to help ensure the course is easy to navigate, and a Media Lead to help everyone get those cool moments captured in time.
So mark your calendars, book your flights, and come Obstacle Course Race at one of America's most iconic backdrops. Run the scenic trails with The Colorado River to your side. Overcome obstacles through nature's rugged but beautiful sandstone terrain. A one of a kind obstacle course race that you won't want to miss!
An obstacle course set up for all, come enjoy the challenge and excitement with friends and family or test yourself against a tough field and race for prizes and awards. Whatever the reason you'll no doubt have fun through 4+ miles of nature's most beautiful and scenic country that is topped with 20 plus skill and strength testing obstacles. Have no fear, there will be passable options for all skills at every obstacle!
Horseshoe Bend Obstacle Course Race
This unique Obstacle Course Race is set to take place on April 23rd, 2022 near the Horseshoe Bend overlook area, just south of Page, AZ off of highway 89. A 4-mile course will take runners through the adventurous desert terrain, and along the rugged sandstone cliff overlooking the amazing Colorado River and magnificent Horseshoe Bend. 20+ obstacles will be placed along the route to provide runners a fun and more challenging experience. Several obstacles will provide spectacular backdrops, creating some awesome photos available for all runners! All runners get dirty, may receive a few cuts and bruises but will definitely receive a Horseshoe Bend OCR t-shirt, and a big shiny medal! Prizes and awards will also be awarded to the top-place finishers!

Awards and After Party to be hosted by Grand Circle Grille - Located at 148 6th Ave, Page, AZ 86040 you're gonna want to head here after the race where you'll find good live music, great food, cold drinks, fun games, and a cool atmosphere awaiting. We'll also be presenting our locally crafted custom awards. This will take place at approximately 3:30 PM.
Parking? You will receive details on parking by 03/25
Heat Times? You can select your heat team at registration and change it up until race week if needed. They start at 7:30 am and continue until 12.
Children? The full race is suitable for ages 12 and up.
Spectators? Spectators will be allowed at the start-finish line area, registration area. There will be water and shade available.
Water? There will be water and water stations throughout the course.
Food? There will be no food on the course, but you can bring whatever fuel you need to conquer the course at your best
Accommodations? We're working on special rates for you and should have them all in place about 3-4 months out.
Anything else to do? The area is also LOADED with things to do! Slot Canyons, Boat tours, and rentals, Fishing, Hiking, so much scenery your eyes may be in recovery for days!
