Obstacle Course Race at one of America's most iconic backdrops. Run the scenic trails with The Colorado River to your side. Overcome obstacles through natures rugged but beautiful sandstone terrain. Experience amazing views of Horseshoe Bend from obstacles built to give you spectacular one of a kind views of the land mark. Race an area closed to the public with views and terrain very few get to step foot on. A one of a kind obstacle course race that you won't want to miss!
An obstacle course set up for all, come enjoy the challenge and excitement with friends and family, or test yourself against a tough field and race for prizes and awards. Whatever the reason you'll no doubt have fun through 3+ miles of natures most beautiful and scenic country that is topped with 20 plus skill and strength testing obstacles. Have no fear, there will be passable options for all skills at every obstacles!

Horseshoe Bend Obstacle Course Race
This unique Obstacle Course Race is set to take place on April 24th 2021 near the Horseshoe Bend overlook area, just south of Page, AZ off of highway 89. A 4 mile course will take runners through the adventurous desert terrain, and along the rugged sandstone cliff overlooking the amazing Colorado River and magnificent Horseshoe Bend. 20+ obstacles will be placed along the route to provide runners a fun and more challenging experience. Several obstacles will provide spectacular backdrops, creating some awesome photos available for all runners! All runners get dirty, may receive a few cuts and bruises but will definitely receive a Horseshoe Bend OCR t-shirt, and a big shiny medal! Prizes and awards will also be awarded to the top place finishers!

Parking? **UPDATE** Parking will be at 710 Tunnel Access Road across from Maverick Gas Station
Heat Times? You can select your heat team at registration and change it up until race week of needed. They start at 7:30 am and continue until 12.
Children? The full race is suitable for ages 13 and up.
Spectators? Spectators will be allowed at the start finish line area, registration area. There will be water and shade available.
Water? There will be water and water stations throughout the course.
Food? There will be no food on the course, but you can bring whatever fuel you need to conquer the course at your best
Accommodations? We've secured some special rates at The Days Inn and Suites. The rate is $89 per night plus tax, and it is available by calling 928-645-2800, mention Horseshoe Bend Obstacle Course Race.
Another very nice and locally owned Motel is the Red Rock Motel. Located in the historic district of Page on the "Street of Little Motels" the Red Rock Motel has a variety of room sizes ranging from one bedroom to a two bedroom apartment with kitchen and dining room. Many of their rooms have full kitchens, perfect for those wanting to cook their own pre-race meals. You can book a room by calling 928-645-0062. Wanting to enjoy the environment a bit more? Lake Powell has some amazing shore line camp spots! Check out Lone Rock Beach, or Wahweap Campground.
Anything else to do? The area is also LOADED with things to do! Slot Canyons, Boat tours and rentals, Fishing, Hiking, so much scenery your eyes may be in recovery for days!
