Description
Run to Fight Children’s Cancer is the largest race in Arizona dedicated solely to pediatric cancer. Now in its tenth year, the race unites the community in building awareness of childhood cancer and raising much-needed funds for research, treatments, patient education and a host of support services for families battling the disease. All proceeds from the race stay in our community and benefit Arizona children fighting cancer through the work of our beneficiaries, Children’s Cancer Network and Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The run is a chip timed event held on the beautiful grounds of Salt River Fields, the Spring Training Facility of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies. The courses for both events, the 5K and the 10K, will keep participants off the city streets and allow them to enjoy the beautiful grounds of this facility. The 10K is for runners only. The 5K is for walkers and runners.
After the conclusion of the 5k and 10k events, celebrate our Cancer Fighting Superheroes during their Cancer Survivor and Hero Walk. This walk is free and all ages may register. Enjoy the post race Expo with Just Energy Entertainment and activities!
