2021 New Year's Day HAIR OF THE DOG Run/Walk

Due to the upward spiral in local and national COVID cases, both the City of Tucson and Pima County are denying permits for special events on City or County property. Thus, we will move this to a virtual event.  We will mark the course, starting and ending at Udall Park, so that you can still run the official HOTD 8K or 1 mile route, or you can run a route of your choice.  You can upload your results at any time between Friday, January 1-Sunday, January 3, 2021.  The first 175 registrants will receive a race number and special doggy-themed buff. All finishers are eligible for a series of raffle prizes from our race sponsor, Fleet Feet Tucson.

• Super-cute, doggie-themed, running buff face covering (first-come, first-served)
• Souvenir race number
• Le Buzz: $5 discount for any Le Buzz item at either location, through January 31, 2021
• Fleet Feet: 10% off any Fleet Feet purchase through February 28, 2021

In Person Registration and Packet Pickup at Fleet Feet Tucson and Fleet Feet Oro Valley:
Starting on December 19, all registrants can stop by Fleet Feet to pick up your HOTD race bib and super cute, super doggie-themed face buff and take advantage of the HOTD 10% in-store discount.
* Buff styles are first-come, first-served.
* In-person registration is cash or check only.

Beneficiary: Humane Society of Southern Arizona. We will give a portion of entry fees to our friends at the Humane Society, but you can also add a donation when you register online.

Price: $30 for all

Results: After you do your virtual 8K or 1 mile run, go the HOTD results form and enter your time to be entered into the HOTD Fleet Feet Raffle prize drawing.

Out of town participants:
Now that we're virtual, anyone anywhere can snag the souvenirs and win a raffle award. We'll mail all out-of-town participants the race buff and souvenir number.Pease email info@runtucson.net to update your current mailing address by 12/30/2020.
