Thanks to all who attended the 2019 TMC Sunrise at Old Tucson Trail Run. We partner with the Southern Arizona Roadrunners to produce this event -- as you may have seen, their webpage is down right now, so we wanted to dash off a quick note with a few quick updates:
1) You can find results at roadrunnerracetiming.com. If you think you won an age group award but were not able to attend the awards ceremony, please visit The Running Shop after Tuesday to pick up your Running Shop gift certificate. If you think there is a mistake in the timing please contact Greg the timer or Randy the race director at email@example.com.
2) We will take the few remaining leftover shirts and medallions to The Running Shop by Tuesday. Most of the sizes remaining are women' small. Later this week, I will send a discount coupon code to the June 1 TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k Night Run as a way to make it up to you!!!
3) We will have links to a ton of photos by the incomprable Goatographer as soon as he downloads 'em all then up loads them to his facebook page.
4) We'll send a full race report later in the week, but if you wanted to create your own race report, please tag us at instagram.com/RunTucson and @RunSar. Helpful hashtags are #RunTucson #RunSAR #HorsePoopAlley #SunriseatOldTucson
OK -- more to follow, but thanks very much for being part of a great race!

TMC Sunrise at Old Tucson is a 4-mile cross country trail run and a 1-mile run through the grounds of historic Old Tucson Studios and theme park. Nestled in the cactus forest on the west side of the Tucson Mountains, Old Tucson Studios is a premier tourist destination near Saguaro National Park West. Check out Old Tucson here! The 4-mile races are part of the Southern Arizona Roadrunners 2019 Running Shop Grand Prix, with points provided for placing. Featured in Runner's World. The four-mile route includes dirt roads, horse trails, and the dusty Main Street of historic Old Tucson Studios. The 1-Miler is not very technical and loads of fun for walkers, joggers, and runners of all abilities!
Produced by Run Tucson, the event raises funds for the local non-profit running club, the Southern Arizona Roadrunners.
Here are some nice words about the 2018 race from one of our newer folks: My friend and I did the one mile fun walk and had a wonderful time - we can't wait for next year!!!! We've been telling all our friends about it - that it is a great trail run for runners and even if you can't run, it was great for us walkers (the hills were still a challenge for us [*:) happy] which was perfect!).
Make a day of it and enjoy Tucson's finest tourist attractions as part of your race entry.
