We are looking forward to seeing everyone out on the track tonight!

Arizona winter is giving us an unseasonably warm evening, with forecasted temperatures around 90°F at 7:00 PM, even after sunset. Please take appropriate precautions to manage heat exposure. This includes hydrating well throughout the day, arriving prepared for hot conditions, and adjusting your race effort as needed.

All participants are responsible for monitoring their own condition during the event. If you begin to feel unwell at any point, please stop racing and seek assistance from event staff. By participating, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with exercising in elevated temperatures.

Tucson Track Club is hosting its first public track meet, and everyone is welcome!

We are building a competitive, but approachable track night for Tucson. Whether you are chasing a PR, opening your season, or just want to try a race on the track, this is for you!

Events

• Kids 800m (FREE)
• 1 mile
• 5K

All races will be seeded by projected time to keep heats competitive. Final heat sheets will be posted race day. Please put an accurate seed time in so we can run the heats appropriately.

Parking is available in the lot just South of the track.  Enter campus through gate on Mountain Ave (between Glenn and Copper st, South of the stadium). The parking lot is on the right as you enter campus.

Schedule: 

Athletes should arrive no sooner than 6:00 PM

7:00 PM – Kids 800m

7:10 PM – 1 mile - *First heat estimated start time, we will have multiple heats.

7:40 PM – 5K - *First heat estimated start time, we will have multiple heats.

A final schedule will be posted on race day once registration numbers are finalized.

All athletes are allowed to warm up on the inner field or on the streets around the school. The stadium field and ball fields are not available for warm-up or camps.

Check-In: Opens at 6 pm. Bib pickup closes 15 minutes before your event.
