RACE DAY START TIMES:

7:55 AM - 5K Waves for Adaptive Runners (wheelchair, pushrim, handcycle, mobility impaired, visually impaired, ambulatory) and Guided Runner Teams.

GUIDED RUNNER TEAMS WILL START AT 7:55 AM!

8:00 AM - 5K 

8:05 AM - 1 Mile

9:00 AM - Kids Run

 

RACY DAY PARKING:

Please arrive early as some parking is a short walk to the start line.

Parking is available on site at Marion Diehl Recreation Center.

Accessible parking is availabe in a designated lot near the start/finish line at 2225 Tyvola Rd, as well as several accessible parking spots available around the venue.

Overflow street parking is available near 4808 Wedgewood Dr, (please park on the street only) about 1/4 mile walk from the venue.  

 

RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP: SATURDAY 6:45-7:45 AM

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

6:45 AM - Packet Pickup opens (There is NO on site registration as the race is SOLD OUT)

7:55 AM - Waves for Adaptive Runners and Guided Runner Teams begin

8:00 AM - 5K begins

8:05 AM - 1 Mile begins

9:00 AM - Kids Run begins

Awards immediately following Kids Run

 

GUIDED RUNNER CHALLENGE:

ALL GUIDED RUNNER PAIRS SHOULD REVIEW THIS VIDEO FOR SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGaLNWB4WVQ&t=92s

Guided runners will begin at 7:55 AM with the waves for adaptive runners, but results will be calculated only competing with other Guided Runner teams.

At least one member of each Guided Runner pair should check in at Packet Pickup, and may check in their team member at that time.

A blindfold and tether will be provided at Packet Pickup.  Achilles Charlotte representatives will be available on site for any questions you have prior to starting your run.
