African Road Festival and 5k Family Fun Run/Walk

Thank you so much for you interest in fundraising for African Road! You are fueling the work of African Road by inviting your friends and family to join-in and learn! 

 

How to sign-up to be an Individual Fundraiser or Team Fundraiser:

 

TO NOTE: Every Fundraising Team is comprised of Individual Fundraisers. So whether you are interested in being the sole fundraiser or join a team -- you MUST start by making an individual fundraiser (steps on how to this are under "Team Fundraiser"). 

 

Individual Fundraiser

1. Follow this link.

2. Enter your information under the section title "Become a Fundraiser" to become and individual fundraiser.

3. Feel free to include a photo, personal message, or description of your connection to African Road!

4. Choose a goal for the amount you would like invite others to give, or you can leave it blank

5. Final Step if you plan to just be a Individual Fundraiser and not a Team Fundraiser -- click "Set Up Fundraiser" at the bottom of the page.

6. After you are done go to your fundraising page to make sure it looks correct! 

7.  Share the link to donate! If donors wish to not pay using credit card -- checks or cash can be sent to the African Road Office (13500 SW 72nd Ave #205, Tigard, OR 97223)

                              If you decide later you would like to join/create a team follow these instructions:

1. 1. 1. 1. Go to "View Individual and Team Fundraisers"

         2. Click on your Fundraiser

         3. Click the drop down section under "Manage" to the right of your name

         4. Click "Edit Fundraiser"

         5. Scroll to the Bottom to Join or create a team.

         6. Click "Save Fundraiser Changes"

 

Team Fundraiser

*You must be an individual fundraiser to join/create a team fundraiser

1. Follow this link.

2. Enter your information under the section title "Become a Fundraiser" to become and Individual Fundraiser.

3. Feel free to include a photo, personal message, or description of your connection to African Road in with your individual Fundraiser.

4. If you already know you would like to start a Fundraising Team or join an already existing one, please follow the instruction under the section "Team Fundraiser" to select your option.

5. If creating a team fundraiser -- feel free include a fun team name, something personal about those on your team, of your connection to African Road to share with your friends and family! 

6. Choose a goal for the amount you would like invite others to give! 

7. After entering in that information please click "Set Up Fundraiser"

8. After you are done go to your fundraising page (both individual, and if you created a team one) to make sure it looks correct!

9. Share the link to donate! If donors wish to not pay using credit card -- checks or cash can be sent to the African Road Office (13500 SW 72nd Ave #205, Tigard, OR 97223)

 

Donations:

Donations made to an Individual Fundraiser are added to total the Team Fundraiser an individual is a part of.

 

Offline Donations: 

If you have someone wanting to contribute to your fundraiser, but as a different preferred method of payment please have them follow these instructions:

1. Checks or cash can be sent to the African Road office: 13500 SW 72nd Ave #205, Tigard, OR 97223.

2. Have them include a note with their donation saying which Individual or Team Fundraiser it is intended for!
