How to Create & Join Individual and Team Fundraisers

For registering yourself, AND creating an individual/team fundraiser:

1) On the top panel, select "Sign Up"

2) If you don't have a RunSignUp profile created yet, you will do so here. You will also pick the event you wish to register for, and you will sign the waiver at the bottom. You may also register others, if you wish.  Please use the correct email address for each additional person you register though, this makes creating a fundraiser easier. Select "Continue"

3) You will answer questions about tee size and emergency contacts on this screen

4) You are now on the "Fundraiser page". Click on the "Become a Fundraiser" button.  The next prompt will allow you to fill out your individual fundraiser page fields.  

5) Fill out your appeal letter here, add a picture etc.  An individual fundraiser MUST be created in order to join or create a team fundraiser.  

6) You will continue down this page to the "Team Fundraiser" section. Click on the grayed out "No" under "Create a Fundraiser", turning it to Yes.   

7) Create the New Team - give it a name, a goal, a backstory, etc.  It is important to create your team name on this step so that your other members can find you when they are registering. 

8) Make a donation to the team, if you wish, or just hit continue

9) Follow through to check out. You have registered yourself, created a Team, and created a fundraising page for yourself and your team

 

For registering yourself, creating an individual fundraiser and then joining your team fundraiser:

1) On the top panel, select "Sign Up"

2)   If you don't have a RunSignUp profile created yet, you will do so here. You will also pick the event you wish to register for, and you will sign the waiver at the bottom. You may also register others, if you wish.  Please use the correct email address for each additional person you register though, this makes creating a fundraiser easier. Select "Continue"  Select "Continue"

3) You will answer questions about tee size and emergency contacts on this screen

4) You are now on the "Fundraiser page". Click on the "Become a Fundraiser" button.  The next prompt will allow you to fill out your individual fundraiser page fields.    

5) Fill out your appeal letter here, add a picture etc.  An individual fundraiser MUST be created in order to join or create a team fundraiser page.  

6) You will continue down this page to the "Team Fundraiser" section. You will click on the "Join a Team Fundraiser" dropdown, search and select your team's name from the drop down list.  It is important to join your team here on this step so your team captains have an accurate count.

7) You can then put in an amount to donate to the team, or leave it at zero.

8) Click through to check out, you are registered, created a fundraising page for yourself, and you're now part of the Team you've chosen.
