How much is registration?

Participation in WalkAbout is FREE!

Where do I park and enter the mall? 

Please use the Food Court Entrance #5 to enter Eastview Mall on Sunday, October 20.

How do I get a Halloween costume?

You will select a Halloween costume when you register. We will have costume pick-up at 1000 Elmwood Ave, Door #1, on Thursday, October 17th from 4:30pm - 6:30pm and Friday, October 18th from 3pm - 5pm.

I changed my mind on the Halloween costume I want. How can I change it?

Reach out to Megan Sassenhausen at msassenhausen@alsigl.org or (585) 442-4102 x8948 to change your costume before costume pick-up.

How do I get a WalkAbout t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, or hoodie?

To get a WalkAbout shirt or hoodie, you need to raise or donate a certain amount. Each fundraiser will only receive one of the options.

  • $25 - Earn a t-shirt
  • $35 - Earn a long sleeve shirt OR a t-shirt
  • $45 - Earn a hoodie OR a long sleeve shirt OR a t-shirt

Funds must be contributed or raised by Friday, September 14, 2024 to receive your shirt or hoodie in time for the event. If you raise the amount after the cut off date, then shirts will be available while supplies last prior to the event. We will do a second order after the event for those who raise the funds after the order date.

Do I need to register for the event to become a fundraiser?

Nope, you can fundraise without attending the event. However, we would love to see you there!

Do I need to become a fundraiser if I register for the event?

Nope, there is no pressure to fundraise. You are more than welcome to come with your family to the event without being a fundraiser. If you do become a fundraiser, then you can earn t-shirts or hoodies for you and your whole family.

I would like to get t-shirts or hoodies for my whole family.

Fantastic idea! Raise the amount needed for each member of your family to receive an item by September 1, 2024. Be sure to register each member of your family for the event to provide their sizes! If you are fundraising for folks that aren't registered for the event, please reach out to Hailey Cole at hcole@alsigl.org with their sizes.

How do I create a personal fundraising page?

At the top of the page, you'll see a tab called "Become a Fundraiser." Head to that page, choose if you'd like to support a specific agency or WalkAbout as a whole, and personalize your page! You can add a story to let people know why you're fundraising, set your own fundraising goal, and include photos to personalize your page.

How do I include a cash donation I received on my page to help me reach my goal?
