Beer City Half starts and finishes at Radium Runway near Waterfront Park and Seaplane Lagoon. The course runs around Alameda Point and then heads out through Crab Cove and along the beach front. These are flat courses that have a mixture of paved road and bike paths. Beer City Alameda is an open-course event.

Aid Stations offer a mixture of water, Skratch sports drink, and (half marathon only), GU gels and blocks. All courses are marked with signs and mileage markers.
