🎉 Pre-Race Highlights

  • Venue & Expo Open: 6:15AM
  • Dog Days Costume Contest: We love it when people are in dog-related costumes! Just head on over to the awards tent before your race to snap a photo with our official photographer, since only these photos will be used for determining our costume contest winners. We will be on the lookout for the best outfits, and the winners will be emailed after the event with a special discount for a future All-Out race!
  • Gear Check: Next to packet pickup. Dropped items on course and in the venue are returned to lost & found at the gear check.
  • Toilets: We have plenty of portable toilets in the venue, against the building.
  • Expo Access: Open pre- and post-race—wellness, treats, and fun await!

📛 Bib & Start Line Info

  • Start Line Narrowed: The width of the path from the start line to the trail access is intentionally narrowed to 6' to prevent losing time from bunching at the trail access. When starting, all human and dog athletes need to stay within the cones to keep everyone moving smoothly.
  • Bib Guidelines: Wear on outermost layer, horizontal, and visible.
  • Start Line Etiquette: ⏱️ Fast runners up front 🚶 Walkers toward the back.
  • Chip Timing: Your time starts when you cross the line. Someone could be behind you the entire race and still beat you, so as I always say, "either just run faster, or run your own race!"
  • Start Window: ‼️ Late starters must downgrade or won’t be allowed on course with a bib.
    • Half: 7:00-7:05AM
    • 10K: 7:30-7:35AM
    • 5K: 7:40-7:45AM

🛡️ On-Course & Safety

  • Trail Etiquette: Be courteous on these trails shared with the public and be especially mindful of cyclists.
  • Bib Visibility = Safety: Keep your bib front-facing and visible at all times for course directions, timing, and photos
  • Course Knowledge = Confidence: Know your route and aid station layout 🔗 here
  • Enjoy the Support: we feature Superganix plant-based balm and MilkShake Factory chocolate and Gu Energy at every aid station, in addition to our usual water and Gatorade.
  • Visit Aid 1 on the Circle: Please note that the Aid 1 refreshment and toilets are just off the official course at the trail circle. Just follow the signs if you want to grab a refreshment at this aid station.
  • Drop Those Layers: Any items dropped at your first pass of Aid 1 will be whisked back to gear check before you finish. Any items dropped at other aid stations will be brought back to gear check at the end of the event. Please only drop items at aid stations. Pro Tip: Label any gear you might drop with your name, it makes returning these items much easier!
  • Spectator Info: We have identified multiple great spots that your spectators can easily drive to and cheer you on! Share this 🔗 Google map with them!
  • Running In the Heat: We have frequent aid stations to keep you hydrated and EMS on the course. We will have ice-cold water and Gatorade waiting for you at the finish line, and cooling towels when the heat index is >80F. If you feel any symptoms of heat stress, please notify the first All-Out staff or volunteer you see, or visit the red medical tent in the venue.
