2027 Tim Totten's Amazing Race for Charity – Charity Application
The Amazing Race for Charity returns on April 3, 2027, with the City of Eustis leading the charge! This exciting event will stay true to its charitable mission.
Charity Application Requirements:
Completed application submitted by the established deadline
Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
Verified 501(c)(3) status: W-9 and IRS designation letter
Required to create and host a challenge
Completed challenge submission- A written description of the challenge and brief video demonstrating the challenge
Water stations are exclusively available for sponsors only and will not be substituted in place of a challenge.
Charity Challenge Requirements:
Must be family-friendly and appropriate for participants ages 10 and older.
Should take approximately 2–5 minutes for a team of two to complete.
Should encourage teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, or physical activity.
Must be safe and easy for participants to understand.
Must be able to accommodate a continuous flow of participants throughout the event.
No weapons, open flames, hazardous materials, or activities that create unreasonable risk.
Challenge hosts are responsible for providing any materials, supplies, and volunteers needed to operate their challenge.
The City of Eustis reserves the right to modify or decline any challenge to ensure participant safety and the overall success of the event.
We encourage organizations to create a challenge that highlights their mission, services, or the work they do within the community.
Incomplete applications or failure to submit required materials will result in disqualification.
The City reserves the right to consider past particiaption and conduct when evaluating appliactions.
