RACE DAY SCHEDULE
Check in/registration starts at 7:00 AM
5K Starts at 7:30 AM
Kids Run Starts at 8:30 AM
T-SHIRT PICKUP
Race shirts will be available for pickup at the registration/check-in area on race morning.
If someone else will be picking up your shirt, please bring a printout (or electronic proof) of their registration with you.
CHECK-IN
All participants should stop by the registration area before the race to check in and pick up their race shirt. Check in will be organized by last name.
PARKING
Free Parking (first come first serve) is provided at Nebraska City High School. Parking lot is .4 miles from the race start.

THE COURSE
The 5K course begins and ends at Steinhart Park. The route will be marked, and volunteers will be stationed along the course to help keep everyone headed in the right direction.
WALKERS WELCOME
Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome! This is a fun community event, so whether you're racing for a personal best or enjoying a Saturday morning walk, we're happy to have you.
WHAT TO BRING/WHAT TO EXPECT
Come ready for a little variety! The course includes some uphill sections and a mix of pavement, limestone, and dirt trails, so we recommend wearing comfortable, supportive shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty if it happens to rain.
Nebraska weather can be unpredictable, and we’ve been known to get a little rain during AppleJack weekend! Check the forecast before heading out and dress for the conditions.
Feel free to bring your own water if you’d like. Mini bottles of water will be available at the halfway point and again at the finish line. And waiting for you at the finish? Water and a fresh apple, of course! 🍎
WEATHER
In the event of severe weather or lightning, the race may be canceled. Any cancelation decision will be made by 7:00 a.m. on race day and posted on the race websIte. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable.
