Cross Clinic with Emily Shields

Get faster, smoother and smarter on the cyclocross course. Prepare to take it to the next level during the 2025 Arctic Cross season!
Cyclocross pro Emily Shields is back in Alaska to coach technique, strategy, nutrition, equipment, training and more. Emily is an elite competitor in cross and MTB. She’s bumped elbows with the best on the World Cup circuit in Belgium. Emily is also a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and she'll be sharing her specialized focus in sports nutrition.
Clinic will be held on the sidehills and cross-country trails at Russian Jack Elementary. Includes lunch, a nutrition seminar, and an informal race to finish the day.
Clinic registrants are invited for a social ride and get together on Friday, Aug. 15. Meet at 6 pm at Hilltop Ski Area for the ride. We'll wind up back at Hilltop for complimentary refreshments at Finn's Kitchen about 7 pm. Sponsored by TOTE Maritime.
