Please join us Sunday December 6 for the annual Somersfield Academy Fun Run!

There will be a 5K run/walk, 1 mile run or for the younger children a lap of the field

• All the routes start and finish on the Somersfield school field.
• One Somersfield primary class (lower primary to upper primary) with the most participants and one Somersfield secondary class (M1 to DP2) with the most participants, will be given a grub day. 
• We encourage students to wear their Somersfield Academy PE shirts.
• Non Somersfield students and their families are also encouraged to participate.

The list of events and Somersfield Class Years are:

Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd MALE and FEMALE in each

• 3-year-old half days 200m (born 2023)
• Full days, P1 and P2 400m (born 2020-2022)
• P3 and P4 800m (born 2018-2019)
• P3 and P4 1 mile (born 2018-2019)
• P5 and P6 1 mile (born 2016-2017)
• Middle school M1, M2, M3 1 mile (born 2013-2015)
• Middle school M1, M2, M3 5k (born 2013-2015)
• Senior school M4, M5, DP1, DP2 5k (born 2009-2012)
• Open 5k competitive run (18+)
• Non-competitive 5k run/walk. (Children younger than 10 years old may participate in the non-competitive run/walk if accompanied by an adult for the entirety 

There will be a draw after all the races are completed for draw prizes. You will have to be present when your number is drawn to claim the prize. 

Notes:

• Parents may run the 200m and the 400m with their children
• The minimum age to do the competitive 5k is 10 years old
• Participants can sign up for multiple events if the indicated start/finish times permit by entering separately for each event

Schedule:

• Race 1 8:30am 200m 3 years old half days
• Race 2 8:35am 400m Full day, P1 and P2
• Race 3 8:45am 800m P3 and P4
• Race 4 9:00am 1-mile P3-P4, P5-P6 and M1-M3 run together

Medal presentation for the 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1-mile races will take place immediately after the mile is complete. 

• Race 5 9:30am 5km competitive M1-M3, M4-DP2, 18+ / non-competitive run/walk together

10:30am 5k medal presentation and raffle draw.

NUMBER COLLECTION:

Saturday December 5 from 10am-12pm at Somersfield Academy main entrance next to the roundabout. 

Please try to collect all race numbers on Saturday 

PARKING

Parking is limited at the School, additional parking has been made available at Lindo's Market.

• CREDIT CARDS Sorry, but you must use a credit card that will work overseas to pay for any registrations
• STROLLERS Please Note for safety reasons strollers are only permitted in the Non-Competitive walk and we would ask that you start near the back to avoid any interference with other participants.
• DOGS Please do not bring dogs to the Start/Finish Area in the interest of other participants.
