Baker's Dozen Half Marathon, Relay, & 5K

December 13, 2025 Hurricane, UT 84737 US

Why loops?

Our goal for the Baker's Dozen is to have a fun, social running party. A loop course assures that the race will have all the best things in life: Friends - Running - and Sugar! Here are a few more reasons:

1) Convenient for family, friends, and spectators to cheer and watch your race.

2) Aid and bathrooms are never far away.

3) Runners get to interact with each other. They can watch the race unfold in front of them. They can cheer each other on.

4) It's unique and fun. Loop races are all over the country and reviews are overwhelmingly positive. It's cool to be part of something new and different.

What is the weather like in Dec?

The average high on December 12th is 55 degrees. We will plan to hold the race rain or shine.

Is there a cutoff?

The race has a 4 hour time limit.

How often are the aid stations?

Our loop course takes runners past the Sugar Shack every 3.25 miles. You will have frequent access to bathrooms, treats, and water. (There will also be a portable bathroom, water, and free hugs half way through the course.

Do I have to eat the treats?

Half marathon runners must eat three treats during the race. A volunteer will mark each treat you eat. Relay runners only need to eat one snack. We'll definitely make allowances for medical issues such as gluten intolerance.
