Spectator Parking & Shuttles
WHERE CAN SPECTATORS PARK?
***IMPORTANT NOTES***
DUE TO SECURITY RESTRICTIONS, THERE IS NO SPECTATOR PARKING AT EITHER THE START OR FINISH AREA. YOU MUST PARK IN ONE OF THE DESIGNATED SPECTATOR PARKING LOTS AND RIDE A SHUTTLE BUS TO THE FINISH LINE. NOT ALL LOTS HAVE SPECTATOR PARKING AVAILABLE. THE LAST SPECTATOR BUSES WILL LEAVE THE LOTS AT 8:30AM. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.
Shuttles will pick up from 6:30 am until 8:30 am and return from the finish area until 1 pm.
SPECTATORS MAY NOT DROP OFF RUNNERS AT THE STARTING AREA. THERE IS HANDICAP ACCESS PROVIDED AT ALL SPECTATOR PARKING LOTS.
TWO PARKING LOTS HAVE BOTH SPECTATOR AND PARTICIPANT PARKING, BUT NOT ALL DO.
MAKE SURE YOU BOARD THE PROPER BUS. Lots at Navy Marine Corps Stadium and Anne Arundel Community College have both spectator and participant shuttle buses. Due to safety concerns, there is no spectators permitted and therefore no spectator shuttles to the start line. SPECTATORS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THE START LINE. DO NOT BOARD A PARTICIPANT BUS OR YOU MAY BE STRANDED WITH NO MEANS TO GET TO THE FINISH.
WHO CAN RIDE THE SPECTATOR BUSES?
Anybody can ride the shuttles from the spectator lots to the finish area. After the race, runners may also travel on these shuttles with family to get back to the spectator lots. There is no charge to ride on these buses. Participants wishing to start the race should NOT board a spectator bus from one of the designated event lots. These buses DO NOT go to the start line. There are separate Participant Shuttle Buses for participants only.
HOW DO SPECTATORS GET TO THE START LINE?
Unfortunately, due to space limitations and security concerns we are not able to accommodate spectating at the start area on the Northrop Grumman property. Family and friends should NOT drive the participants to the Northrop Grumman property, nearby roads or Sandy Point State Park on race morning. Bay Bridge Police will monitor these locations and send all traffic back to Annapolis to the designated parking areas listed below.
