What's Up?
Join us in San Ramon on October 26 for our Race of Champtions! This is our celebration of an entire Beer City year where we crown our Series Champions and award the Golden Growler. There's more too. In this one time, Winner-Take-All Race, we crown half marathon champions and award a $5,000 purse.
Whether you're podium-seeking or not, Beer City is an amazing day. Beer City Half starts and finishes at Bishop Ranch "Off Center," our new name for the space across from Fieldwork Brewing and City Center. The runs take you around Annabel Lake, then out the Iron Horse Trail. You will be treated to a challenging race with mixed terrain and sights you likely never have seen. Beer City Festival includes a half marathon, 10k, and 5k distances. The Beer Stroll is a 1-mile walk for those who are mostly in it for the beer. Beat the Beast is our new take on the beer mile.
You don't have to have been part of other Beer City races to have a great time. You also don't have to care for beer. This gathering is meant for everyone and it's made by runners, for runners. So come out for a great time with sunshine, running, beer, and celebrating.
When you get home we will be there with tastes of beer from the East Bay's great local brewers. Runners drink until noon and the it's off to Shindig! our afternoon gathering.

Saturday, October 25 - LOAD IN!

4 pm- 7 pm Bib and shirt pickup; registration NEW longer hours! Yes, you can pick up on race day. Yes, you can pickup for friends.

Saturday, October 26 RACE DAY!
City Center Bishop Ranch - Off Center (location). Park in City Center Parking at 6000 Bollinger Canyon Rd, San Ramon or in the reserve lot and walk to the Race Area, just across Bishop Drive.
7:00 am: Registration and bib pickup opens
8:30 am: Half Marathon Start
8:45 am: 10k Start
9:00 am: 5k Start
9:10 am: Beer Stroll Start
9:45 am: Beer tasting opens for Tasting Only ticketholders
11:00 am: Beat the Beast beer mile
12:00 pm: Post race tasting ends
Beer City Shindig
Location: Fieldword Brewing, 6000 Bollinger Canyon Rd, San Ramon, CA 94583
1:00 pm: Shindig begins! Music kicks off with Dr. Dr
2:00 pm: Band: School of Rock San Ramon
3:30 pm: Band: Hop Sauce
5:30 pm: Beer City closing sing along.

Each Beer City Half runner receives the special Key to Beer City, a comfy Beer City Bishop Ranch t-shirt, a 7oz Beer City tasting glass, custom bib, and free race photos

Podium trophies are given to the top 3 in each race by gender. Age group awards are given 3-deep in 10-year divisions (example: 20-29). Age group winners are requested to identify themselves at the timing table.
All runners are entered into the Beer City Series results and our Slammers receive a special lanyard that holds all the keys. Collect them all -- gotta run first!
Beat the Beast and The Beermazing Race have their own treats and rewards as well..
