Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
For the 5 Miler, must be 14 or older on the day of the race and able to run the course in a hour or less (12 minute per mile pace). There are no age limits for the 5K or the 1 Mile and you don't need to bring an ID to the event. Just bring your ticket. Children under 5 are free and do not need to register.
Are there prizes for the top finishers?
There are prizes for the 5 Mile (top male and female) and 5K (top male & female by age group). Prizes are awarded for the top 5K finishers in the following age categories: 10 & Under; 11-13; 14-18; 19-34; 35-49; 50-64; 65 & Up.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is extremely limited, so please carpool or walk where possible. For directions and parking information, go to http://www.bensrun.org/directions.html.
Is my registration refundable or transferrable?
There are no refunds, but you can transfer your registration to someone else up to two weeks before race day. If you need to transfer your registration, please make sure that you sign into RunSignUp at least two weeks before the race and change the attendee information so that we have the right runner's name on race day! We cannot transfer registrations within the three week period before the run.
