The DC Half has partnered with Bird to bring you the training and support you need to be ready for race day.
Whether you're trying to PR or looking to finish your first half, you'll do better with the help of a coach and have more fun training with others.
Who should join
14 Week Beginner team: Beginner and intermediate runners who are looking to increase their endurance and get comfortable at race pace. You should be able to run or run/walk 5 miles (even if it's slow!) at the start of the plan. We will be increasing mileage slowly to build volume while avoiding injury.
12 Week Intermediate team: Intermediate and advanced runners who are looking to increase their endurance and speed. This plan starts with a long run of 8 miles and incorporates tempos, speed work and hills!
