RELAY FAQs

So what are we doing? Sign up HERE by either creating a "Team" or joining a "Team". If joining, you will need to know the team name and password created by the Team Ghoul (captain). You can have 2-4 people on your team. There will be FOUR LEGS (four times going down and back along the pedestrian trail, a little less than 1 mile total for each leg).

I don't have a team to run with. Can I still participate? YES! Single participants are allowed and are encouraged to run all 4 legs. (price does not change regardless of how many legs you complete)

Do I have to wear a costume? No, but they are strongly encouraged. You know you want to!

Are there any rules on costumes? Yes! Please nothing OVERTLY sexual and nothing OVER THE TOP terrifying or dangerous! We love scary and we love sexy, but children will be in attendance. Please use your best judgment. We reserve the right to pull participants if a costume could be dangerous to other participants.

What do I get with my entry fee?  You get a super cool glow-in-the-dark t-shirt, glow items, candy, entry into a costume contest, a safe place to trick or treat with your littles, a fun music-filled community event followed by an outdoor movie showing of Hocus Pocus!

Is there an age restriction on the relay?  No! We ask that any participant 8 years old and younger be accompanied by an adult while participating.

What if one of my teammates can't make it? You can replace your teammate with someone else, or you can run extra legs. We do not offer refunds.

Can I bring my dog or stroller? Unfortunately no. Our insurance will not permit dogs or strollers along the course.

Where can I park?  Parking is free downtown. You can find parking throughout downtown.

Do I need to bring a flashlight? The trail is lit up with street lamps. You can bring a flashlight if you want extra light. Sunset begins just after 6pm.

Is there a medal? Will this be timed?  This a fun run/walk. There will not be any timing and you will not receive a medal. This is all about fun!
