Athlete Guide
Welcome to Race Week! After weeks of preparation you are ready to tackle either the 5k, 10k or the half marathon. This guide has information for you to help make your race experience go nice and smooth.
Packet Pick Up
Early packet pick up is Friday, August 22 from 3:00 - 6:30 pm at Dave's Running Shop in Perrysburg
Race day packet pick up will be held from 6:00 - 7:15 am at the Wood County Fair Grounds
Race Day Parking
Free and ample parking is available in the large lot directly across the street from the start line on Poe Rd. Walk across the street to packet pickup. Walk to the street to start the race. Easy access to keep your gear in vehicle.
Course Map
Water Stops
Water and Gatorade will be served at all water stops along all three courses. You may choose to also carry your own hydration bottles or packs which can be refilled at any of the water stations as well.
5k: There will be one water stop on the 5k course located just shy of 1.5 miles serving water and Gatorade
10k: There will be three water stops on the 10k course. Just shy of 1.5 miles, approximately 3 miles and at 5 miles serving water and Gatorade
Half: There will be 10 water stops along the course.
Mile 1.5 serving water and Gatorade
Mile 3 serving water and Gatorade
Mile 4 serving water and Gatorade
Mile 5 serving water and Gatorade
Mile 6 serving water, Gatorade and Honey Stinger gel
Mile 7 serving water and Gatorade
Mile 8 serving water, Gatorade, Pickle Juice and Honey Stinger gel
Mile 9.5 serving water and Gatorade
Mile 11 serving water and Gatorade
Mile 12 serving water and Gatorade
Post Race
All participants will be treated to a pancake breakfast at the finish line. There will also be ice cold chocolate milk waiting for you in the Refreshments Zone as well as other light refreshments.
Awards for each distance will be available once official results from the timer are available.
