Is the race open to both men and women?
Yes! The race is open to men, women, children, and adults! We would love to encourage family participation in the 5k Challenge (see below), so we have waived the registration fee of $2.50/person for families of three or more registering at the same time for the 5k Challenge.
What is the 5k Challenge?
The 5k Challenge is held at the same time as the 5k. Participants must complete 6 STEM activity stations along the route! All activities are tailored for kids and adults of all ages to enjoy.

Are strollers allowed?
Yes! Just remember that part of the race is on a dirt trail.
Are children free?
Yes! Children 6 and under can register for free.
Can I register the day of the race?
Yes! We will offer day-of registration from 7am-7:45am at the start line.
Where can I park?
At the Memorial Health building parking lots at HWY 80 and Bryan Woods Rd.
How far is the start line from the parking lot?
Only about 0.25 miles. We will have lots of signs up to direct you to the start line.
How do I buy a raffle ticket?
You have the option to purchase raffle tickets at the end of your registration. You can also buy them through the SCE SWE website or email the race director at SavannahSWE5k@gmail.com. Tickets are $5 each, or $20 for five.
Will there be aid stations along the route?
Yes! We will provide water, fruit and other refreshments along the route and at the finish line.
Restrooms?
Yes! Porta potties will be available at the start/finish line.
Emergency first aid?
Yes! An ambulance will be on site.
Is the race dog friendly?
Yes! Leashed dogs are allowed at the race (but please don't forget to clean up after your pet!).
