COURSE MAP
NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR
The 2022 edition of the Brave American Classic will start and finish in War Memorial Park, off Blackburn Road in Sewickley.
- Both the 5k and 1 mile will begin and end in War Memorial Park
- There will be a lead police vehicle as well as a sweeping police vehicle for participant safety.
- The course is "PARTIALLY CLOSED" but there is the possibility of vehicles on the course. Be vigilant and aware of surroundings at all times.
- All participants NEED TO STAY TO THE RIGHT of center when running or walking. Vehicles might be in the oncoming opposite lane.
- When you exit the park, please stay to the right of the cones until you reach Centennial Drive and turn left
- Once on Centennial, there are no cones but you need to still stay to the right behind the lead police vehicle.

- On the 5k loop, you will run a large rectangle around town and then return up to the park.
- All roads are partially open to oncoming traffic. Please stay to the right at all times.
- Obey all police and Sewickley Public Works directions at road crossings.
- When returning back up Blackburn Road, keep to the left and keep the cones on your right again.
1 mile map - CLICK HERE
- On the 1 mile course, this is an out and back.
- 1/2 mile into the route there will be a sign that says TURN AROUND HERE
- At this point, walkers will exit the road on the left and take the sidewalk back to Blackburn Road
- Once at Blackburn Road, walkers will cross the street and head back up to the finish on the left side of the road in the coned lane keeping the cones on your right.
