The 10K race is chip timed with the ChronoTrack system. The 2 Mile is a fun run, not timed, but there will be a clock at the Start/Finish line.
Headphones/earbuds are strongly discouraged for safety reasons.
No. Due to safety concerns, strollers and dogs are prohibited.
Yes, water and Gatorade will be available on the course.
Restrooms are in the building where you will check-in to get your bib; it's a short walk from the start/finish line.
A loaf of bread is the race swag!
Yes, but you must bring a loaf of home-baked bread.
No refunds, transfers, or deferrals. If the race is cancelled due to weather or other issues, it may be rescheduled. If rescheduling isn't possible, you'll be offered free entry to another low-key race.
Yes! You get to choose a loaf of bread based on your finish place.

Start/Finish on the grass field, the first two miles are on the paved road(asphalt), C&O Canal towpath is primarily crushed stone, dirt, and gravel.
