The 5K is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities!

The course begins at Meridian Centre Park and heads out toward Winton Road before connecting with the Erie Canal Trail for an out-and-back portion. Participants will follow the canal trail west for approximately 1.5 miles to the water station and turnaround point.

After turning around, runners and walkers will head east along the canal trail toward the entrance to Meridian Centre Park. The final portion of the race winds through the park on a shaded, tree-lined trail, providing a beautiful finish back at Meridian Centre Park.

Get ready to run, walk, and have some fun! The Kids Fun Run is a “choose your own adventure” experience, where kids get to decide how many laps they want to complete.

The fun run begins at 10:00 AM, with a 1/3-mile loop around the park. Kids can complete as many laps as they would like while the course is open—whether that’s one lap or several!

And there’s a little reward for every adventure: kids receive a special looped bracelet for each lap they complete. Collect one bracelet for every loop and see how many you can earn!

The course will begin closing around 10:45 AM, with the fun run officially wrapping up by 11:00 AM.
