The Wellness Expo portion of the event is free and open to the public. The 5K run/walk pricing information is detailed in the "Pricing" section of the website. There are numerous discounts available!
The 5K run/walk will raise funds to benefit the MUSC Children's Health Wellness Works program (formerly Heart Health). Come run or walk a USATF-certified 5K course to join in the fight against childhood obesity. We also have a lot of exciting raffle prizes to offer, so bring cash or card to purchase raffle tickets and participate in the drawing after the race (no checks will be accepted).
Your registration fee includes a t-shirt, race packet with swag, water and healthy snacks. We also offer official timing and overall/age-group awards (three deep)! A finisher's medal will be given to all who complete the entire 5K course. The Wellness Expo, day-of registration and on-site packet pick-up begin at 8:00am, group warm-up kicks-off at 8:50am and runners/walkers start at 9:00am. The expo, prize raffle, age-group awards and healthy snacks will follow!

Wellness Works Program Information:
MUSC Children's Health Wellness Works program (formerly Heart Health) is a weight management program and lipid clinic for kids and teens. We work with kids and their families to promote healthy habits through individualized clinic visits, group education sessions and a fitness program. We have had fantastic success and we currently have over 350 families enrolled from the greater Charleston area! Since we are a non-profit program, we rely heavily on fundraising events that also promote our healthy message through exercise and other health promotion activities.
