UNI5K Fun Run/Walk

Don’t miss out! Join us on July 24 for AACC’s first 5k walk/run being held to honor the power of laboratory medicine. This is the perfect opportunity to bond with colleagues while getting exercise, putting health first, and celebrating the laboratory profession. The event will occur on a paved, dedicated path at the Anaheim Convention Center campus and is being hosted in partnership with the UNIVANTS of Healthcare Excellence Program, which is currently in its 5th year. The UNIVANTS of Healthcare Excellence Program is a prestigious global award program that was created by Abbott in partnership with leading healthcare organizations across the globe with a common vision to inspire and celebrate healthcare excellence. Every participant of the UNI5K event receives a commemorative UNI5K T-shirt, participant ribbon, and chip time.

Registration

Online registration for the UNI5K opens on April 4th. The link will be made available here at that time. We recommend signing up as soon as registration opens, as only a limited number of people can participate in the event. Registration closes on Sunday, July 23rd at 5pm.

Race Fee: $35

Packet Pick Up

All race registrants will get a packet with a UNI5K T-shirt and bib. UNI5K T-shirts are recommended for the walk/run in order to demonstrate unity and teamwork across our profession. You can pick up your packet on:

• Sunday, July 23 from 1 – 5 p.m. in the Anaheim Convention Center in Hall E.
• Monday, July 24 (the morning of the UNI5K event) starting at 5:30 a.m. in the Grand Plaza.

Each walker/runner must pick up their own bib and shirt onsite - there is a waiver that participants will need to sign in person.
