2020 has been a challenging year for everyone to achieve their fitness goals, but we want to encourage you to change that!

Now, you can participate in the 2020 Kids Run the OC Triathlon Challenge.   Run, exercise, and educate yourself as you start the school year and earn the awesome 2020 incentive medal!  Kids Run the OC participants and coaches from 2020 will receive access to the challenge at no charge. Additional parents, kids, and coaches can register for $25.00.

Want to know how to earn your challenge medal? The Kids Run the OC challenge is made up of 3 parts! Fitness, Education, and Nutrition.

  1. Fitness: Run (or exercise) the equivalent of 26.2 miles along the OC Marathon course.

If using exercise instead of running, every 10 minutes of exercise = 1 mile.  (Find ideas for 10 Minute exercises HERE.)

As children completed their running/exercising they will follow along on a map of the OC Marathon Course.

  2. Nutrition: Participate in of our Kids Run the OC 8 nutritional challenges.  Visit THIS PAGE to choose from various nutritional challenges.

  3. Education: Participants will be asked to read 6 book before the end of the year.  Parents and teachers will need to assist in knowing the child's reading ability and choosing books accordingly.
