AGAIN THIS YEAR! THIS HALF, THE KERN RIVER TRAIL RUN 10 MILER, AND MR. TOAD'S WILD RUN 20K ARE PART OF THE BAKERSFIELD TRACK CLUB'S 2nd ANNUAL   DISTANCE CHALLENGE!

This year's participants will not only receive a discount for each race by signing up for all three in advance, but the first 150 to register and then successfully complete all three events will receive all three of the items that will be featured for Distance Challenge participants.  There will be separate registration for the series to sign up for all three races and receive discounted race pricing.  Participants who sign up for each individual event and complete each event can still participate in the series challenge, but will not receive special pricing. 

BAKERSFIELD HALF AND 5K INFORMATION
This is a exciting course starts at the Park at Riverwalk and the heads out to run on the equestrian trail. As the name suggests, a riverbed does run through a part of the course. Please expect paved and uneven, dirt/sand surfaces. There will be aid stations, but plan to carry hydration and/or nutrition if you have specific needs or requirements.

The 5K course follows a similar route as the Half Marathon.  Discounts offered for BTC Members, Team IBProFun, and Bakersfield Trispokes Members! (No discount codes will be given for the series registration.)

Race starts at 8:00 a.m. for runners. Half Marathon walkers start at 6:30 a.m. There is an 11:00 a.m. course cutoff time.

Race Day Registration 6 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Age group awards will be given.

Depending riverbed conditions, this course may be modified as the race gets closer.
