BAKERSFIELD TRACK CLUB'S 2nd ANNUAL DISTANCE CHALLENGE POSTPONED
New Date: unknown for 2021
Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we are choosing to continue to postpone the Bakersfield Track Club's Annual Distance Challenge. All of the events in this challenge are unique and because we love the uniqueness of them, we feel that they would lose the spirit of the events if they were to all be made virtual. As good stewards in the community we cannot responsibly set a firm date for 2021. We understand you are disappointed. We are too, but as we entering the flu season and with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we must fall back on and follow the CDC and California Department of Public Health Guidelines for gatherings to protect ourselves and others. We will update RunSignUp and Facebook as we get more information. Thank you for your continued support of the Bakersfield Track Club during these uncertain times.

Sign-up now for this the 2nd Annual BTC Distance Challenge! Registration will include entry to the BTC Half on January 25, 2020, the Kern River Trail Run 10 Miler on April 25, 2020, and Mr. Toad's Wild Run on December 5, 2020.

This year's participants will not only receive a discount for each race by signing up for all three in advance, but the first 150 to register and successfully complete all three events will not only receive a finisher's hoodie, but an additional three items that will be featured for Distance Challenge participants and something that runners can use throughout the year; heading in to 2021.
To be eligible for the finisher items, you must successfully complete all three events (not just register). Items will be given at the end of Mr. Toad's Wild Run on December 5, 2020.
There will be no transfers after the first event in the series or refunds at any time.
