ENGin
Our club is proud to partner with ENGin, which was founded in 2020 with the idea of promoting English-learning and cultural exchange by pairing American and Ukrainian youth over the internet. Many of our club members at Frontier High are actively tutoring Ukrainian age-group peers through weekly meetings over Zoom. Some of the young people we work with are still living in Ukraine under the constant threat of missile strikes targeting the civilian population and basic needs such as electricity and heat. Others have been forced to flee their country and are temporarily staying elsewhere in Europe.
Titans for Ukraine offers not only English-language instruction but also a lifeline of companionship and understanding. Many of our Titans have made meaningful friendships with the young people we have volunteered to help. To date, ENGin has matched approximately 10,000 Ukrainian youth to volunteers, with the goal of matching 100,000 more in the next five years. Please help us sustain and expand this important endeavor!
