Teddy Bear 5k Run & Walk

Join United Way of Kern County for our 2nd Annual The Teddy Bear 5k Run & Walk will be held on November 18th at Riverwalk Park.

Every year, we gather teddy bears and distribute them to numerous children within our community. These cuddly companions are not just toys; they serve as valuable tools for law enforcement when they encounter situations involving children. Additionally, schools and various organizations utilize these teddy bears as rewards for students and sources of comfort for children facing challenging times. The proceeds from our initiative will go towards supporting both our teddy bear drive and providing books to children throughout Kern County.

Day of Schedule
Registration & check-in starts at 7:00am and ends at 8:30am. If you picked up your packet prior, no need to check in. 
5K run starts at 9:00am
1-Mile walk starts at 9:05am

The first 30 sign-ups will receive 2 tickets to the Condor's Teddy Bear Toss Game on 11/25!
Long Sleeve Teddy Bear 5k theme shirts!  (While t-shirts last!)
Medals for all and gold medals for Age Group Winners for 5k 
Music & Vendors
Prizes for best costumes and/or accessories!
