NBVC Big Bear Trip/Snowboard Tuning 101 (Optional) March 16

Come and experience the nearby winter playland of Big Bear Mountain Resort. See the beautiful sights, snowboard, or ski down the slopes, and enjoy the cozy lodge, all without having to drive yourself.     

Snowboard Tuning 101 Option Friday, March 15

Join our MWR Gear Rental staff and learn how to fit your snowboard bindings, perform a hot wax, and tune your edges. Customers are welcome to bring your own equipment or MWR Gear Rental can provide equipment to perform maintenance on and take up to the mountain for additional rental fee. Snowboard rentals are subject to availability and customers are encouraged to reserve equipment up to 2 weeks prior to class. All maintenance tools will be provided for class.

Class will take place at Port Hueneme Gear Rental, Bldg. 1362 Friday March 25th, 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

Transportation will pick up from Duke's Place at 4:30am

If your command requires approval to participate in events, you are responsible for procuring said approval before signing up. By registering you agree that you meet the qualifications listed above. Patrons who are not qualified liberty patrons, (e.g. non active duty, dependents, retirees, or DoD civilian) should not click on the liberty registration button.  Status will be confirmed at check-in and may be reassessed into another category and charged the difference and denied free gear rental if incorrectly registered.)
