Event Information
The third and final race of the series! This is one of the most epic trail runs in the county by far. Be prepared to find what you are made of out on this trail. It's no joke! Do you have what it takes? This trail is located right outside of Borrego Springs in the Anza Borrego Desert.

We have 3 different distances for this course. Due to it's difficulty level you may want to do your research before picking your distance! We have a 6 mile 'fun run', 15 miler to Villager Peak and the 22 miler to Rabbit Peak. All courses are out and back.

It will be mandatory to run with your own water, make sure you have plenty you may be out there for awhile!

Fleet of Feet Division will be starting at 6AM.

Bad Ass Division will be starting the Friday evening before at 10PM.

Description

The third and final event in the 2014 King of the Hill – Trail Running with Attitude Race Series.

This race will consist of running or back packing up Rabbit Peak, one of the most scenic, beautiful and challenging peaks out there. Along the 6, 15 or 22-mile out-and-back course you will encounter various rigorous fitness tasks, including push-ups, burpees, etc. This year we will offer a 15 and 22 mile option. Plus, we will have a 6 mile 'fun run'. Something for everyone!

Choose from two divisions:

- Fleet of Feet division - This is a standard trail run with fitness challenges along the way and water stations. You will start the race at 6AM. You will have 12 hours to complete the course.

- Bad Add division - This is an unsupported trail run/hump with more extreme challenges along the way. Must carry weighted pack (50 lbs. for men, 30 lbs for women), plus all of your own food and water, there are no water stations allowed. Life insurance policy required! Only the truely bad ass need apply! Only the truly 'insane' need apply! You will start the sufferfest at 10PM on Friday, April 11th. You will have 21 hours to complete the course.

This IS one of the most difficult trail races in Southern California and has NEVER been raced before our 2012 event! There will be an option to turn around at Villager Peak (mile 7ish) due to difficulty and time cut-off.

You MUST register now as we can only allow 250 Fleet of Feet runners & Bad Ass backpackers due to the size & difficulty of the trail.

You are not affraid of a little Rabbit are ya?!
