The Rock It in Chino Hills 5K/10K scheduled for October 10, 2026 has been cancelled. Registration is closed. Current registrants have been contacted directly regarding transfer, refund, and donation options. The race will take place in October 2027 at a date TBD.

Event Description
Run it, hike it, and conquer the trails of the stunning and expansive Chino Hills State Park! Choose the 5K or 10K to challenge yourself with the beauty of trail running or hiking, all while soaking in the tranquility and scenic views, with trails stretching as far as the eye can see on most of the course. Your experience will be captured in race photos included with registration, the shirt you’ll wear with pride, and your finisher patch. Age group awards for first place finisher in age these nine age groups <9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Course maps are here.
Please note, this event may be subject to weather conditions and could be rescheduled due to rain or other event and venue restrictions. Participants will be automatically transferred to the new date, and no refunds will be provided.
Parking at California State Parks is $10 per vehicle (cashless payment only), or you can park at the nearby Carbon Canyon Park for $5. Carpooling is encouraged!
Parking at Chino Hills State Park - Discovery Center lot opens at 6:30am. Packet pick-up starts at 7:00am. The address is 4500 Carbon Canyon Road, Brea, CA 92823 - Discovery Center location.
