The (Winter) Sasquatch Scramble 5K/10K/Half (Live or Virtual)

It's been a BRUTAL year. Races have been postponed, canceled, and/or pivoted to 'virtual'. A number of our runners couldn't participate in our flagship event (The Sasquatch Scramble) earlier in the year, so we're rolling out a small, 'winter' edition of the event on the LAST Sunday of 2020. Celebrate the END of a year like no other with us!

If you can't join us LIVE for this event, we can support virtual as well. We'll be happy to mail you your swag!

Where: Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley, CA.
When: Sun, 12/27-Anytime between 8:00AM-1:00PM 
Course Maps: 5K Course Map, 10K Course Map, Half Marathon Course Map.

While the current normal prevents us from hosting a conventional 'live' race as we've done in the past, we've come up with a creative alternative that is LIVE, includes trails, AWESOME swag, post race BEER (& other beverages), and much of what you'd experience at one of the races we've executed during the 'old normal'. Additionally, we've come up with an approach to ensure this can be done SAFELY! Read on for the details..

The Swag:

All participants receive...

-An epic, trail run at Lake Chabot Regional Park
-An AWESOME race woodallion (that doubles as a bottle opener!) from Elevation Culture
-A Sasquatch Racing  buff/neck gaiter
-A Sasquatch Racing beer sampler stein
-Post run beverages (your choice of Standard Deviant Beer, Hint Water, or Athletic Brewing Company non-alcoholic brew).

Here's how it works.....

1. Sign up for The Winter Sasquatch Scramble 5K/10K/Half (LIVE or Virtual).
2. Show up at Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley anytime between 8AM-1PM on Sun, 12/27. Run the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon course on your own (we'll provide Strava course maps, TBT directions, and a RunGo course map with audio cues). Make sure you complete your run no later than 1PM.
3. Conquer the Sasquatch (Winter) Scramble and swing by the Fairmont Ridge Staging Area to report your time, grab your swag, and grab a delicious, chilled, post run beer (from Standard Deviant Brewing Company). If beer isn't your thing, we'll also have Hint Winter and Athletic Brewing Company non-alcoholic beer for you.
