Description

Diablo Valley Federal Credit Union (DVFCU) is pleased to welcome you to our information page about the Concord Turkey Trot, a 5K run/walk benefiting Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa.

The event will take place at Newhall Park on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28, 2024 at 8 AM.  For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, registration for this event is capped at 1,500 participants.  This event will be conducted in accordance with current state and local health department guidelines for outdoor events. 

The course includes varied terrain including grass fields, park pathways, and city streets. Those participating with strollers or pets will be asked to enter at the back of the start area so as not to impede those wishing to race for time. All 5K Run/Walk Participants will receive a tech t-shirt and a medal!

The race will take place rain or shine.  Once your registration has been paid, there are no refunds. This includes inclement weather or any other reason including injuries, personal emergencies, etc.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup for the 5K Run/Walk will be held at Sports Basement at 1881 Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek. The hours will be Tuesday, November 26 and Wednesday November 27 from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM. ***Packets for the Kids Run will be given on race morning only (Thursday November 28, Newhall Park) at the Liberty Gymnastics table near the 5K finish area from 7:30 AM to 9:10 AM***
