This event is hosted by the Navy Region Southwest Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Program.
The event raises funds to support Quality of Life Programs for Navy personnel.
MWR Quality of Life programs support the 500,000+ members of our San Diego Military Family. MWR provides healthy and affordable fitness and recreation opportunities at each of the five Navy bases in San Diego County.
Event Snapshot
START LOCATION: One Park Blvd, San Diego – between the Hilton Bayfront and Convention Center
FINISH LOCATION: Tidelands Park, Coronado
START TIME: 8am starting with 10K participants,then waves of 4 mile runners then walkers
COURSE: Scenic point to point course takes you through downtown, over the Coronado Bridge, down to Tidelands Park.
YOUR ENTRY INCLUDES: High quality commemorative t-shirt and fantastic finisher medal!
RACE NUMBERS: Mailed to you if registered by May 9th, free of charge!
PACKET PICKUP: Saturday, May 17th 10am-2pm at RoadRunner Sports 5533 Copley Dr, San Diego. Pickup your bib and t-shirt (and merchandise if purchased).
RACE MORNING PICKUP: At the start line area beginning at 6:30am.
FREE TRANSPORTATION BACK TO START LINE FROM FINISH: Participants can select a shuttle bus or ferry after the event, free of charge!
