Description

Take on the New Year with a new challenge. Discover our local landmarks of outdoor recreation on your own and win prizes for levels of completion. Pick up a pendant challenge flag to travel with and post pictures to Instagram for participation.  Challenge includes 20 of San Diego's most popular landmarks with a range of difficulty and accessibility including Cabrillo National Monument, the waterfall at Los Penasquitos Canyon, and Potato Chip Rock on Mt. Woodson.  

Tag us @navylifenbc and use #OAChallenge to log checkpoints.

Entry packages can be purchased at our Outdoor Adventure Center or online before pick-up at the OAC.

Prizes for completion range from OAC apparel to full weekend rental packages from North Island Outdoor Adventure Center.  Reach and tag us at least one approved location showing your entry pendant to qualify for a free sticker pack from NI OAC.
