***Bib pick up will be on Friday, July 21st, at Fleet Feet in Vacaville (354 Merchant st, Vacaville) from 4-6pm. If you can't make it Friday, registration will be open at 7:15am on Saturday morning at the college. There is a map of the race information located in the sponsor pictures***
The Achieve the Dream Gymnastics Foundation cordially invites you to register for the 1st annual Super Hero 5K and Kids Fun run.
The proceeds from this event will help support an aspiring team of 100 gymnasts to travel to local, State, Regional and National events. A portion of the proceeds will also go to “Thor’s Fund” in honor of our little Super Hero, Thor Wayne Thompson. Thor was the son of one of our gymnastics coaches and tragically passed in 2015. This event is being held during his birthday weekend.
The Super Hero 5k and Kids Fun Run will be held on Saturday, July 22, at Solano Community College in Fairfield, Ca. Our event will include kick off with a DJ, the 5K, 2 different kid runs, free refreshments, awards and vendor booths from some of sponsors!!
The 5k Run/Walk will start at 8:30am, (This is a timed event)
3-5 year old loop race at 9:30am
6-10 year old mile race at 9:45am.
Costumes or Super Hero shirts are encouraged!!
Awards and capes will be given for the top 3 in each age group. Medals for all who enter, shirts while supplies last.
Interested in sponsoring the race? Your sponsorship will help with the cost of organizing the event. Funds received from sponsorships will be used to purchase t-shirts for registered race participants, awards and complimentary drinks and snacks for each race participant. Any additional money from sponsorships will help go toward our fundraising goal of $15,000.
I signed up to be on a team but it charged me full price? Unless you sign up a whole team at registration, you must be approved to be apart of the team you are signing up for. You will pay full price and once approved, you will receive your $5 discount. Usually 2-4 business days. You will receive an email stating your refund.
Can I bring my dog or pet? Unfortunately the answer is no. Our race day insurance does not allow pets on the day of the race.
Can I bring a stroller and push a young child? Yes! Although this race is timed, you can walk, jog or run this race. We highly encourage all families to come! Young children 3-5 are encouraged to sign up and run the loop race!
