Description
Visit Ferndale for the Foggy Bottom Milk Run! The race features a 4 Mile, 2 Mile, and 10 Mile course. Ferndale has been the home of the Foggy Bottom Milk Run since its inception in 1978. A hidden jewel of California's Lost Coast, we are proud and honored to hold our event in this beautiful locale.

Youth Team Scoring
In the 2 Mile Race there will be youth team scoring in the following categories:
- Boys Under 11
- Boys 11 to 14
- Girls Under 11
- Girls 11 to 14
- Youth Group (for schools that do not have enough entrants in the above categories)
When registering you will designate a team to be on. If your school or club is not listed, please click the "Questions" button at the bottom of the page and let us know so we can create one.
The scoring will follow NFHS XC rules in which the first 5 athletes' places on a team are added together and the lowest score wins.
The next 2 runners on a team after the first 5 runners will count as displacers.
Awards
4 Mile and 10 Mile Awards
- 1 deep in Male\Female Overall, Master (40+), Grand Master (50+), Senior Grand Master (60+)
- 3 deep Age Groups (overall award winners excluded):
14 and Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
2 Mile Awards
- 1 deep 10 and under M/F, 11-14 M/F
- Top 30 in each of the 4 kids age groups (overalls excluded)
- No other age group awards in the 2 miler
- School Group Trophies
- 10 and Under Boys
- 10 and Under Girls
- 11-14 Boys
- 11-14 Girls
- Overall School or Youth Group (teams of 5 or more, mixed age/gender okay)
- Schools that don't fill another category (age/gender) will have their participants combined to make a Youth Group team
- To be counted in the team scoring, an athlete must finish the 2 miler within 45 minutes.
Awards Ceremony
Only top overall awards winners and team trophy winners will be announced at the awards ceremony.
Other award winners need to pick up their awards at the Results canopy in the parking lot.
The 4 Miler Awards ceremony will be at 1pm
The 10 Miler Awards ceremony will be at 1:45pm
The 2 Miler Awards ceremony will be at 3pm
