San Joaquin Running Tribe: South Finegold 10k Trail Race

Join us for our first San Joaquin Running Tribe event where will start the morning off right with a fun 10k Trail Race, followed by more fun and food. Friends and family are welcome to join. The entry fee covers your bib w/timing chip, insurance, and SRA Permit Fees. If you park in the S. Finegold parking area you will be responsible for paying the day use fee. You can also park along the shoulder of Sky Harbor Road and just walk down. 

Where: S. Finegold Picnic Area at the end of Sky Harbor Road in Friant, Ca.

When: 7:30am-12pm Saturday, April 15th, 2017 

What to bring: Your running gear, change of clothes for after, something for the potluck, a chair/blanket/unbrella to hang out on afterwards. 

We'll have Water, Ice, Tailwind, Gatorade, Beer (for 21+) and fruit.  

The 10k Trail Race is more of a fun run, we'll have race bibs with chip timing but no "official awards". we will have some prizes to give out to our top finishers, special category awards and we'll also raffle off some goodies (all participants will be eligible for the raffle)

Not So Best Dressed- show up and run the race in the ugliest/strangest outfit and you may take home this prize

Most Haggard Running Shoes Award- You have to run the race in them to be eligible

Best Race Day Selfie- Picture must be taken during the race then submitted into the FaceBook group, you have to take the picture. We'll vote for the winner collectively and announce the award on the following Tuesday.
