January 14th, 2017- Winchell Cove 10k/10mi Trail Run. This is going to be a great event for all ability levels. The 10k course is perfect for those possibly wanting to try out trail running for the first time. The 10 mile course offers a bit more of a challenge in the way of a longer distance and a few hills. All 10k and 10 mile runners will recieve a race shirt, finisher award, and koozie.
Winchell Cove 10k/10mile Trail Run follows a great route along the shore of Millerton Lake around Mckenzie Point and into Winchell Cove. The 10k course is great for those looking to explore trailrunning for the first time, it has minimal elevation change (hills) and stunning views from the single track trail. The 10 mile route takes you further into and around Winchell Cove with a couple good hills along the way. The 10k is walker friendly. The course is out and back. All particpants registred prior to race day will recieve a race shirt. No refunds, race goes on rain or shine. Race entry fee includes parking at Millerton State Park, a parking pass will be emailed to all participants prior to the event. The parking pass must be printed and displayed on your dash when you park inside Millerton Lake SRA. It is your responsibilty to display your parking pass if you do not you will be cited by Park Rangers.

Race Day Packet Pickup: At Millerton Lake From 7:00am-7:45am
This is an out and back course. 10k participants turnaround at mile 3.1 & 10 mile runners at mile 5.
